M. Hebert, M.Ed.MGCP
Dean is the founder of Mindset for Performance. Dean has
more than 17 years of college teaching and workforce training
experience and more than 20 years coaching experience. He
has been an invited presenter at many regional and national
conferences. He has presented for many professional groups
as diverse as MENSA, the Association for Chronic Pain Sufferers
and the Association for Financial Aid Administrators. He
is a former interpreter for the hearing impaired and fluent
in American Sign Language. He has won national recognition
awards for excellence and a congressional award for service
to youth. He consults nationwide on training and performance
improvement and is actively involved in educational boards.
After receiving his masters degree in Higher Education
Administration he completed post-graduate work in Sports
Psychology the psychology of performance enhancement
- and is a certified Mental Games Coaching Professional
(MGCP). He has successfully combined Human Performance Improvement
strategies and techniques with sports psychology to work,
athletic and training settings. Among his accomplishments,

He was named 1996 Masters (over 40) Runner of the Year
for the State of Arizona. He set the age 40-45 Arizona
age group 5K state record, 15:59.6 and still holds the
age 38 5K state record. With more than 100 career race
victories to his name he is a premier state and regional
athlete.
